What Is Getting Us Excited for Magento Imagine 2017!
This huge event is fast approaching with our team gearing up to swap the office for Las Vegas this Friday to make in time for the Big Dam Run and #PreImagine.
Magento Imagine is the biggest event in the Magento calendar, rounding up a global audience of 3,000 merchants, tech suppliers, ecommerce agencies and digital specialists over a three day period at the Wynn, Las Vegas.
It’s key aim is to bridge the gap between the Magento platform and its many users, with inspiring talks from world renowned brand owners, super bright ecommerce directors, digital specialists and savvy celebrities. Click here to see the full agenda.
But let’s move past the glitz and glamour to look at some of the real reasons we’re excited to be attending the event.
NB: One thing we’re not excited about is being in heels from the 7:30am registration to the midnight after party finish. I think we’ll be packing a pair of our favourite G.H. Bass loafers to be on the safe side!
BIG DAM RUN 2017
Rise and shine for a morning run through the Hoover Dam on Sunday with the likes of OneStepCheckout! A great opportunity to catch up with your contacts and make new ones outside of the professional setting. Keep your eyes pealed on our Instagram and Twitter for updates from Natasha.
It goes without saying that as a general point, we’re very excited about networking with other merchants, suppliers and experts in the ecommerce industry. It’s an opportunity for everyone to impart and absorb knowledge, but also connect in an inspiring environment with inspiring people. We wonder how many new ideas were born out of meet ups at Magento Imagine!
#PreImagine on Sunday evening is a great ice breaker event before the conferences start on Monday. Sponsored by ShipperHQ and northern ecommerce agency Space48, the already sold out event will be a great opportunity to catch up with like minded people. Nexcess are even offering a limo service from the airport all day Sunday!
We launched our first Magento 2 ecommerce website in August 2016 and have two handfuls more coming this year (new builds). We’ll also be migrating our first phase of clients over to Magento 2 from their current Magento 1 next year, so we’ll be heading over to Margaux 1 for the ‘Technical Deep Dive: Expert Guidance on Migrating from Magento 1 to Magento 2’ in the afternoon!
THE FUTURE OF MAGENTO
Roll all of these technical focussed conferences and inspiring speeches together and what you have a is one massive immersive experience that will prep everyone for the future of Magento on Magento 2.
We can’t wait!
