A New Look for Dickies Life

We’re delighted to have partnered with Dickies to create a new look for their streetwear website.

Founded in Texas in 1922 by C. N. Williamson and E. E. “Colonel” Dickie, Dickies has become the go-to for iconic, quality workwear-inspired clothing. For this project, we worked closely with Dickies Life to re-design their site to capture the timeless vintage aesthetic they are known for.

The updated site helps the brand to highlight its hero products — such as the Original 874 Work Pant and Haywood Backpack — as well as its relationship with skateboarding, punk and hip-hop culture, and its art connections too.

The new site not only helps to showcase Dickies’ connection to the art world, but it is inspired by art itself. We used the golden ratio as the grid for Dickie’s new site. The two-column layout is well suited to web design, as it creates a natural sense of order, balance and hierarchy.

Check out our case study here to learn more about our process behind the site refresh.
