Next week, we’re off to Moda; the biggest and most prestigious B2B fashion event in the UK. We’re looking forward to checking out the collections, catwalks and seminars but we’re also going to be doing a spot of work too…
Our moment in the spotlight will be on Monday afternoon, when we give a talk on just how important creativity and design are when it comes to converting visits to your e-commerce site into cold, hard sales. As anyone who’s worked with us will know, we’re interested in building websites that showcase more than technical expertise. Of course, an e-commerce site should be wonderfully responsive, easy to use and technically impressive, BUT, what really draws people in (and makes them want to return time and time again) is jaw-droppingly seductive design. That’s what we’re going to waxing lyrical about.
We’re also going to be throwing some questions out about what we expect from an online store these days. Why is it no longer enough to simply offer a functional online sales platform? How can exemplary e-commerce sites rekindle a love affair with a brand, or start a new one? Why are so many sites perfectly functional but utterly uninspiring visually and creatively? And of course, how do you go about upping that all important conversion rate?
We’ve got 15 years in the business and even if we do say so our ourselves, an enviable roster of clients, from high end fashion brands Crombie, Amanda Wakeley and Charli to chocolatiers Charbonnel et Walker and luxury homeware brand Josephine Home to name a few.
